Partnering for Excellence
Nalco Chemical Company, the world’s largest producer of specialty chemicals and services for water and industrial process treatment, awarded Galindo Publicidad, Inc., for Excellence in Marketing Communications in August. GPI has worked closely with Nalco since January 1998 to help improve internal and international communication procedures. “Consistency with our communication materials is a primary goal. Working with GPI has helped us save time and money,” says Diane Hamburger, Division Vice President of Marketing Communications. Nalco’s audience is broad and diverse with more than 7,000 employees worldwide and 1998 sales of almost $1.6 billion. Headquarters are in Naperville, Illinois with regional operations in Europe, Pacific Rim and Latin America. Operations span more than 120 countries including major manufacturing facilities all over the world. As Nalco and GPI continue to grow, both companies reap the benefits of striving for excellence, blending people with technology, and effectively reaching audience’s worldwide.
